Single Review: Stranger by Miki Fiki

Released in 2017, Miki Fiki’s single “Stranger” embodies a plethora of feelings that any listener can relate to when bumping the song in their earbuds. Starting off with a groovy baseline followed up with a funky sax to lead listeners into the first verse of the song. The bridge leading up to the chorus is fantastic and every second of the song will have listeners bopping their heads mindlessly to the beat. The lead singer’s vocals are strong and incredibly impressive. “Why do you think that I’m a stranger/ to my
own damn friends?” Is a sentence that any college student can relate to when transitioning from high school. Miki Fiki did the damn thing with this one.
