A slight glimpse into the solo career that he has started working on, Louis Tomlinson released his new single, “Kill My Mind.” A song that reminisces the late 90’s and early 2000’s mashup of rock and roll and hip hop, “Kill My Mind” starts light with steady synthesized guitar and light drums, only to climax with rapid-fire percussion and churning guitar. Meanwhile Louis screams “You kill my mind!” as the opening chorus. The single is a fun and energetic turnaround compared to the music he made in his time with One Direction, setting the foreground for a new basis of future music to be released.
