Known for other hits, such as “The Banana Dance” and “The Couch Potato Pokey,” a lazier version of the Hokey Pokey, Dr. Jean joins other famous musical Doctors, such as Dr. Dre and the Spin Doctors. Stripped of the high-quality animations seen in her other videos, Jean bares her soul, as she sits on a fold-out chair singing the lyrics, “I am slowly going crazy / 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, switch,” before reversing all the words in the second half of the phrase. Dr. Jean’s repetition makes for a catchy tune that will haunt your dreams.
