Why Don’t We’s newest single, “Big Plans,” is a song about being enough. It’s a song about aspirations and consolations, asking listeners to “love me for who I am, and for who I’m gonna be.” In typical boy band fashion, the song features the group singing lightly autotuned lyrics as an acoustic guitar noodles in the background. Not only do the lyrics pack on an amazing message for listeners, but the simple guitar and drum beat pull the song together to create a head-bopping track. The video features Why Don’t We dancing and smoldering among the blueprints of national monuments, a reference to their big plans. Fans of classic sentimental melodies and swooning young men should tune in.
