Broadway’s Thriftiest Store

BUFFALO EXCHANGE

The walls are decked with vintage band posters, mannequins are draped with 1970s chic clothing, and indie electronic music pulses through the room at the Buffalo Exchange location off of 1st and Broadway. Buffalo Exchange is one of Denver’s trendiest thrift stores; it resells modern clothing brands, provides the customer with a unique experience, and all for a low price, making it the thriftiest store in the area.

The store sells items that they purchase on consignment from locals in the area. Brands and styles range from J. Crew to Free People to lesser-known labels, but all of the clothes are in mint condition and worth every dollar. Buffalo Exchange also sells vintage items, like 1960s thigh-high go-go boots or 1970s bell bottoms, and even hippie-era leather fringe jackets. 

The people who work at the store are friendly and personable, and each have their own impeccable fashion sense.  They are always at the helm to provide one with feedback and suggestions based on what the customer is looking for.  e store helps outline Halloween costumes for their customers or for different occasions.

While Buffalo Exchange is nowhere near as inexpensive as Savers or Goodwill, it has a better selection of modern and vintage clothes, which surpass the quality expected from second-hand clothing. With a bubbly atmosphere, a groovy aesthetic, and a vogue vision for second-hand clothing, Buffalo Exchange is by far the thriftiest store in Denver.
